Trolling and Gloating: Masks for COVID-19

I got a notification that someone on Twitter liked a statement by a rival in a troll-flame war. So I reviewed my tweets from mid-July, 2020.

As I write this, in mid-September, 2020, I feel like saying “told you so.”

Make no mistake, I didn’t start with that position, and I have kept reading up on things, and my knowledge has changed over time.

There are higher risk masks (like the useless gaiter, which may do more harm than good), and lower risk masks, and homemade masks that are almost as good as purpose made surgical masks. Not only that, but those surgical masks are almost as good as N95s, if fitted correctly.
