Once the rainy seasons is past, you can take a lot of stuff out and give it away or sell it.
Here’s a photo of some stuff I’ve given away. This is a small fraction of what I’ve donated to the junk pickers.

It’ll soon be time to purge again.
In the winter time, I tend to “sell” because you have to interact with people more.
In the warm months, it’s easier to give it away, and be hands off about it.
Start off my taking pictures of every single item. I like to arrange them, and then take a photo of a LOT of stuff. It’s more enticing.
Here’s a template to use for your listing
Come and get it from the front of the house at _______ _______full_street_address______.
Do not bother the occupants.
Item 1
Item 2
Item 3
List every single item for giveaway.
If this ad is up, the stuff is available. :Last updated 11/11/2025.
Then, at end of day, or start of the next day, go out and take new photos, if things have been taken. Remove them from the list. Update the post, and change the “Last Updated” info.
You can put only 10 photos on Facebook, so stick to 10.
Aim to put around $100 worth of stuff out there. The more valuable it is, the more likely people are to come around.
Focus on getting the stuff out, and the ad up, by Thursday night. The weekend yard sale people will add your pile to the route.
