Asian American Media Representation, Recommending Feminism
This is a video essay, with a lot of references, bringing together different ideas about representation, race swapping in portrayals, and desirability and gender. It’s pretty good. On the Vice Asian American, Model Minority and Asian Hate, Panel Video
This video’s made the rounds, and I felt compelled to write some about it. It’s not a great panel, but it’s good that the video was made and put out there for a general audience that might not be too familiar with the current debate/infighting.
